Dr. Davison’s Approach

Dr. Davison offers a gentle, hands-on approach for acute as well as chronic pain. Each patient’s treatment plan is customized to his or her individual needs. Dr. Davison utilizes osteopathic manipulative treatment including, but not limited to myofascial release, articulatory techniques, and cranial osteopathy (which is an advanced form of cranio-sacral therapy), as well as nutritional counseling, home exercise programs and prescription medications as needed. She emphasizes a balance to mind body and spirit.

Dr. Davison’s Story

Dr. Davison is a graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) and a licensed physician in New York and Maryland. She is board certified in Pediatrics and completed a clinical and teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine while attending NYCOM.
She completed her post-graduate training, including an osteopathic rotating internship, at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. While there she utilized osteopathic manipulative medicine and cranial osteopathy.
Dr. Davison successfully treats newborns, children, and adults with a gentle, hands-on approach. She evaluates and treats pain syndromes acquired from life stressors, injuries, trauma, or after surgeries, including low back pain, neck pain, TMJ, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, tendinitis, vertigo, headaches, migraines, sinusitis, myofascial pain, torticollis, plageocephaly, and developmental delays.
Dr. Davison is a member of The American Academy of Osteopathy, The Cranial Academy, The Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation, New York Society of Osteopathic Medicine, and The American Osteopathic Association
As an avid equestrian, Dr. Davison has both personal, and professional experience maintaining a lifestyle of preventative medicine, physical activity, nutrition, and the benefit of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
